CAIUS' KALONS

Gaius is an illusionist capable of projecting images ranging from barriers to 1-2 creatures. He's also a self-taught summoner of sorts and can conjure smaller animals such as squirrels
or rabbits. This power is drawn from the gems attached to his chains. He learned a large majority of his magical skill from a mage working for his palace and as such, knows a bit
of healing magic as well -- only enough to heal wounds of his own.

Gaius is secretly a runaway prince from a kingdom named Jiihn'ra. Due to his upbringing, he's got an overly confident attitude and is a bit cocky with things, even stuff he's definitely never done before. That doesn't stop him from being eager to learn though but it does take a moment for him to admit he's wrong. Gaius generally has a soft aura and projects a calm atmosphere despite his pretty boy aesthetic and what would seem to be an intimidating rank. When not being a general butt, he has a serene appearance and can often be found meditating quietly. He's not quite used to living on the run just yet but is slowly getting the hang of it.

He absolutely loathes being compared to others of "higher standing" as this is most of his reason for running away. Gaius often hides his insecurities and fears behind fake confidence and didn't enjoy being constantly pitted against his parents. The weight of responsibility grew much too heavy to bear and Gaius, still free at heart and ready to explore, wasn't quite ready to rule a whole kingdom. His feelings culminated into the need to run, thus Gaius packed up what little he needed and took off into the night. Although rare, if one can get the drop on him, they may see just how tormented he actually is.

ROMAN. the notorious smuggler of jiihn'ra.

• Gaius met Roman when the kalon attempted to tie him up in the middle of the night. They had a good fight and once Roman realized he'd been bested, offered to work for the prince as a body guard. Gaius agreed although he is still a bit weary of the kalon's tricks, but considers him a good friend.
