Roman was born within the lands of Jiihn'ra. He grew up learning the trades of smuggling from his mother and father and became exceptionally skilled at hunting. The kalon is a natural born tracker and enjoys the thrill of the hunt. While he possesses no magical affinity, that doesn't stop him from being impressed with Gaius'.

Roman is, unsurprisingly, hot-blooded and quick to rise to a challenge. He thinks highly of his skills as a hunter and dislikes other doubting that. When the situation needs it, however, Roman is quick to fall into a team mindset and will attempt to make sure things go smoothly. Do not mistake this as an illusion of caring though -- Roman will just as easily leave you in the dust. His profession is a dangerous one and he will not risk getting caught to save someone else.

Roman met Gaius while he was staying in a tavern near him. The kalon could tell he was a wizard of sorts, even without the gems adorning his lithe body, and was soon proven to be correct. His relationship initially began with attempting to swipe the pretty kalon for slave purposes but Roman quickly formed a bond with him and now works as a body guard / traveling companion.
